Anyone who experiences chronic migraines, which is defined as 15 or more headache days each month, with migraines on at least 8 of those days, each lasting for 4 or more hours, may be a candidate for Botox. Oftentimes patients who receive Botox have tried and failed several forms of treatment, including medication management. Botox for migraines can be repeated once every 3 months.
